Submission formats

PhD project in progress paper: timeframe 40 minutes with max 20 minutes for presentation and 20 minutes for discussion + 5 minutes intermission between presentations. This format is mainly for discussions of PhD projects at an advanced stage. PhD projects at an early stage are referred to the PhD seminar (see below).

Senior research paper: timeframe 40 minutes with max 20 minutes for presentation and 20 minutes for discussion + 5 minutes intermission between presentations. This format is mainly for discussions of senior research projects at a not yet completed stage.

Completed PhD projects paper: timeframe 20 minutes (included questions) + 5 minutes intermission between presentations.

Symposium: Several papers may be submitted together indicating an interest to form a symposium. The symposium participants are themselves responsible for engaging a discussant. Timeframe 90 minutes in total.
Discussants will be appointed for paper presentations of PhD projects in progress as well as for senior research papers. Regarding symposia, see above.
PhD seminar March 7-8, 2016
Preceding the conference, a PhD seminar will take place at the same venue. The seminar has two objectives: 1) March 7 afternoon, to discuss student papers that will not be presented as spoken papers (though they are invited as posters) at the conference, and 2) March 8 morning, to provide a student organized meeting place for doctoral students. This seminar is mainly for discussions of PhD project at an early stage. Senior researchers will participate as facilitators for the discussions.

Please submit an abstract (maximum 1000 words without references) indicating your preferred presentation format no later than December 31, 2015 to Cecilia Ferm cecilia.ferm@ltu.se on acceptance the abstract will be published on the conference website / printed in the proceedings.

Notification of acceptance will be emailed to presenters by January 31, 2016.

For paper presentations, a full paper should be sent to your commentator (maximum 4000 words including references) no later than February 15, 2016.

Please indicate clearly the preferred presentation format of your submission and whether the presentation is submitted for the PhD seminar or for the conference.
The conference language in all plenum sessions is English, yet presentations in parallel session may be in Danish, English, Norwegian or Swedish.
Preliminary programme and further information about the conference will be announced in newsletters and on a conference web site that will be launched.
